Troy R. Young

Sergeant

I started my career in law enforcement as a corrections officer for Androscoggin County, shortly after graduating from S.M.T.C. with an associates Degree in Law Enforcement. I began serving the Jay community as a reserve Patrol Officer in 1999. I was hired as a full time patrol officer in 2004 and graduated from the 9th Basic Law Enforcement Training Program a year later in 2005. In 2007 I was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. I enjoy spending time outdoors camping, hiking and snow shoeing, especially with my wife Mary and our boys T .J. and Tommy.
