The Jay Police Department is currently accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Candidates will be required to successfully pass an in-depth background check, oral, psychological, and physical agility test as well as a medical and polygraph examination.

The Jay Police Department serves a population of about 4600 citizens. We offer competitive wages ($23.50 start pay for MCJA graduate), Health and retirement benefits (including MPERS 25 year no age).
